Mr. Weisenberger ~ Conant Elementary School ~ 3rd Grade
Inspired by "Snidely Whiplash" in the Magic Suitcase

SNIDELY WHIPLASH

His complexion is green
and he is so mean.
He is a villain.
He'll rip out your fillin's.
He likes to do magic.
The effects are so tragic.
He poisoned his rabbit.
Mean tricks are his habit.

The following poem is by,
Tennyson, of Mr. Weisenberger's 3rd Grade class:

Dirty Dinner

"Wash up for dinner" says my mom in her mood,
"But I like dirt on my hands to mix with my food".

The mud on my finger nails, I mix with my beans,
Then wipe the mixture all over my jeans.

"Use your napkin" my father squeaks.
"But why?" I ask, "it just leaves paper on my my cheeks"

Will you come to dinner? It's all quite delish.
I'll even let you use my dog, Belcher's, dish!
