Lakeville Elementary School ~ 3rd, 4th & 5th Grades
Here is a poem by the 3rd, 4th and 5th grade students of Lakeville.
It was inspired by a red plastic coin holder from the "magic suitcase."

THE THING THAT GOES CHA-CHING
I have a little key chain that goes in and out with me.
I keep it in my pocket even when I climb a tree.
It’s as red as Gramma’s lipstick, and also very bright.
It’s so very shiny that it even glows at night.
It goes clinkety clink in my pocket.
It opens like a locket.
Who else could own this thing?
With coins, it goes "cha-ching"!

Here is a poem sent by Ashley M. of Mrs.Infante's class.

HELLOW MR. RED

Hello Mr.Red
Nice to see you out of bed.
Hello Mr.Blue
You feel like glue.
Hello Mrs.Pink
I am glad you don't stink.
Hello Mrs.Yellow
You are sweet and very mellow.
Hello Mrs.Green
I don't think you are mean.

Myranda S. and Ashley M. of Mrs. Infante's class sent
this poem. They were inspired by their dogs.

DOGS

One thing we have in
commen is our dogs.
They can be hogs.
Soft,warm,cuddly and fluffy lil' guys.
They need a lot of buys.aa
We love them very much.
They get cold in slush.
We will love them until they die.
So don't give them a pie.
