Why Summer is Better than Winter
Summer’s hot!
And winter’s not!
In winter, it gets below freezing
Your nose is cold
You can get frostbitten fingers
In summer,
Things are very cool
You can swim in your own pool
You don’t have to shovel snow
And there are places you can go
You can go to the beach
And play outside with no coat or hat
Just run out in your shorts
And play sports
You can play on the swings
On a picnic
And not get sick
Yes, summer’s hot!
And winter’s not!
